Dismounting by Panzerfire Dismounting by Panzerfire
Helga Nadler and the rest of her men of the 633. Panzergrenadierbatallion dismount a Puma APC during the Arabian Peninsula campaign. She's holding a Heckler & Kock G-36A2 assault rifle with a AG-36 grenade launcher. the trooper behind her is sporting a brand new MG5 7,62mm machine gun (Known mainly as the HK121). The rest got standar G-36A2s.

And I finally got this done in color! :D Not much to say really. Been trying a few new things in this with little success which is going to lead me to revert to some older practices. What I did add was a sligh variation effect to add a bit more color. I was tempted to play significantly with more extreme color variations as well as brightness and contrast effects but I thought it would be better if I didnt break so hard with my usual colors.

If you want to see the actual Lineart before I got to color it:  <da:thumb id="410765846">fav.me/d6sk4ye

And aside from ID update I did, this is my first major coloring work since I got my Computer back. So I got a bunch of drawings to color.

I hope you guys like it. More to come soon :D

I almost mistaked her for a U.S Army soldier, in the thumbnail I thought it was a stryker and the pattern was UCP or ACU.

On a second look, I might had painted the patterns too small to the actual desert Flecktarn. Ence why at longer distance it could be confused with a digital pattern.

The German's army and their NATO allies are gonna have to be ready when Russia snaps and finally declares war. (No joke)

They're gonna have to. But I don't think they're much willing to take the necessary steps to face up to the rising Russian bear.

Impressive once again. You are doing well :)
I mean, look at that newspaper on the group there! LOOK AT IT!

There are of course areas   you can improve upon, but your use of foreshortening and perspective is really good, as well as the coloring.

thank you. I keep trying to improve as much as I can with each picture I do.

If you could point me out the areas I could work upon in the future, I'd be very grateful.

Im glad you do like it as it is right now. :D

I think the next thing to work on would be vehicles.
You perception shape for drawing them is very good. If I remember correctly, you (use to at least) used rulers and everything  to make it perfect.
I think when it comes to coloring, you could do a better job when incorporating the lines into the coloring. Make the lines art less obvious n stuff. You seem to be doing it for the soldier pretty well. (I hope I am making sense)

Yeah I got it. I do change the colors of theLines themseles to better suit the color they're surrounding. What I should start including is perhaps vary the colors a little more to reflect better the shadows and the lights. I know they do this in many American comic books front pages. I'll try to look into it. :)

The thought has passed across my head but truth be told that's an area of work that's not gonna happen.

Too many people are already working in it or are studying to be part of that and related industries.

Simply said, there's no work available there. So I aint bothering pursuing a dream that cannot be realized.

That's a shame...

You're work often looks like a screenshot from a well done anime.

haha, that's because they're static. Animating it is a whole different matter and it'd require a lot of work to do. At least in the same level of detail as here. ^^;

But I appreciate the thought. Im glad you like it.

The picture turned out very good. I realy like the shadow, movement and smoke effects. The degree of detail of shadows and light effects is very high and gives the image a very good 3d effect. I'm very curious how the other pictures will turn out. Carry on with this good work and have fun creating it.

hehe thank you. I've set the bar pretty high for the other pictures. I'll have to do some effort. :XD:

The kathe pic is probably not going to be so awesome but the kahoru picture... hohohoh.... that's gonna be fun to do.

haha I dont know if Im a good example to follow.

But whatever style you choose, there's only one secret (Which is not to secret) towards improvement. And that is practice. Draw a lot.
