It's 'Ze' Germans

Ze germans are back!

(And all our european neighbours are like "OH NO! NOT AGAIN!" )

We see here three soldiers of the German Army (Deutsches Heer - Bundeswehr) posing cheaply for my lame "Pro-Bundeswehr" propaganda campaign

Nah... actually I just wanted to draw some soldiers with a "WTF are you looking at?" attitude

On the left we have our dear Oberleutnant (First Leutenant) Helga Nadler with her favourite weapon... a Heckler & Koch G-36 assault rifle fitted with an H&K AG-36 grenade launcher. Bigass weapon of badass girl
As you can see she's not using the... ahem... standar german uniform. Rather more a mix between woodland and desert flecktarn clothing

What? She ain't an orthodox soldier otherwise she wouldn't have posed for the "Why I joined the Deutsches Heer" picture.
Unfortunatelly her face went a little screwed When I drew it on pencil it was fine but after inking it, it looked quite bad. I'm seriously considering not to ink my drawings anymore and instead scan them while still on pencil and then work the linearts digitally. Such strategy could help me get to a new level in my CG skills.

The guy in the middle is an updated version of a long forgotten OC of mine called Maximillian Schneider (Surname probably mispelled... will check later). He's a young major (at the moment of the picture). His main weapon is the H&K P8 (German Army adaptation of the H&K USP), which is located at his chest for an easy extraction. Gun looks a bit too small. Gotta draw hand guns more frequently.
Oh.... for those german army enthusiasts... don't bother trying to figure out what the beret insignia stands for. In the german army the berets insignia and colors are helpful to determine the mission and role of each soldier. In this picture the insignia is fictional.

Also I'm not so sure whetter officer would actually wear the berets in a combat zone.

The third guy on the right is your random german soldier
Nobody special. He's holding a standar G-36 assault rifle fitted with an EOTech sight and a Foregrip. However the rifle's size makes it look a bit more like the G-36K Proportion mistake right there I think.

I originally hesitated in uploading this picture given a recent incident that took place in Afghanistan were german ground forces called in an american air strike and blew two fuel trucks stolen by the Taleban. The bombing raid apparently killed way more civilians than actually expected. Not the shinest moment of army. But this picture is not to reflect any of that. It's just pasrt of my WW3 fan fiction.

I hope you like this. Next is the "Why I joined the VDV" project. However I'm planning to work paralelaly on 's request lineart so that once I'm finished coloring all currently scanned linearts, I can go scan the new linearts not long after.
