Hey guys, just an update to let you know that I am still taking commisions. I got a few already in line but if you don't mind waiting a bit I will get to yours in due time. Payment happens only right before I get to work on your commision.

If you have reference material for the stuff you want then that would be most appreciated. Feel free to add as much detail as you like. I will try to accomodate all of it or most of it if it's a bit much but I will try to take on challenges.

I will however not take on projects involving loli topics. 18G topics are also not encouraged but if it's relatively mild I may consider it. Do ask.

What the hell? What is this BS? Where did time go???

Health issues: Anyways just dropping by to let you know that I am in fact still alive and somewhat well. My sight hasn't gotten that much worse in the last year so wearing glasses has helped me a bit. So yay I'm not blind. I have been feeling less well in other areas. Like I'm having concentration issues. Feeling tired permanently. I might be in need of a drastic change of lifestyle. More sport, better diet, perhaps a human sacrifice in a satanic ritual. We'll see what we can do in this year.

Side projects: I've spent most of 2022 being more socially active in my twitter account. Just sharing memes, news about the war in Ukraine, racially insensitive comments now that Elon Musk is on board with it (lol not really). I also spent a lot of time learning to grow and tending to a small little personal farm of a variation of pepper plants. I am a big fan of bell peppers but also of hot and sweet peppers as well. So I thought why not grow some of them myself? So far they've grown pretty nicely but some of the plants deteriorated because of a number of plagues that I had to struggle to keep under control. Anyways my first bell pepper is starting to grow and a few hot peppers have also emerged so things be looking promising. I've also planted a couple of pumpin seeds in my garden and holy shit that plant GROWS. Sadly no pumpkins have grown with it and I think it's probably because the seeds are modified to not allow further growth or the ants are killing the pumpkins while small. Don't know what going on there but I will figure it out.

Regarding art:

Art wise the thing is completely stopped. I was initially motivated to draw again at the start of the year, specially after the war in Ukraine kicked off and I was planning to do a bunch of pro-ukrainian artwork as a way to get back in the saddle but no. In the end I always ended up doing anything else but sit down to draw. I've been procastrinating any art projects for so long that I'm starting to think that I just don't like drawing anymore. That perhaps it was a child's hobby that I kept running way past its time. I still don't think that I'm quite ready to let go but ehhh we're gonna see soon enough. I will be trying to start drawing again this year although I will probably stick to small drawings for a while. I might even go back to traditional inking. Doing that process with the pen tool in PhotoShop is a bit of a pain in the ass. I will also try to work on simplifying the coloring process even further than I did previously.

And yeah I will try to not get discouraged by the sheer amount of AI-generated imagery (I refuse to call that shit art) that has flooded DeviantArt. I fucking hate that trend. One of the most discouraging things to come out of fucking '22.

New computer:

Recently I finally upgraded to a new pc. So now I can play some of the games my old rig could no longer support. Still no Armored Warfare because the new pc does NOT have a graphics cards so the game crashes upon start. And yet games like Hoi4 or Warthunder work just fine even at medium graphical settings. So yeah AW be the most unoptimized piece of shit ever programmed. Ironically, War Thunder is almost as heavy as Armored Warfare and you get so much more stuff in it. But I still want to play my old MBTs in AW. It's the one game where I got most of the stuff unlocked. I might look into streaming some of the games I play through twitch when I get a microphone. Now that I have a PC that is in fact NOT crap. Hahaha. The sad part is.... it took so long for me to get an upgrade that my old gaming buddies don't play anymore. :') I will have to kidnap them and force them to play with me.

Policy change on comments:

In other news I've recently decided to change my policy of live and let live regarding comments that I disagree with politically, specifically those concerning NATO, Russia and the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Any Russians, vatniks or tankies reading this, you lot finally did it. The level of lying, bullying and outright defending the undefendable while spinning a world of fantasy about a nightmare of your creation has led me to one simple conclusion: There's no talking with you. It's a complete waste of my and everybody else's time to engage in any sort of debate with you. So I've begun implementing a policy of zero tolerance for your bullshit. I will be deleting your comments and blocking you from the account. Simple as that. You can go ahead and throw your silly two cents around but I will take them and dump them into oblivion and it will only take me three seconds to do that. So...

Don't care anymore if it's the mature thing to do or not but I'm just done with that. Commisions in 2023?

I've been asked around lately regarding commisions. And I love the idea of getting paid while doing art (actual fucking art not that crap AI does). But again, as mentioned before I havent arted in a long while so I cannot get back into commisions with the level of rust that I got on me. We'll see later in the year but right now the anser is a resolute NO. Alright that's it for now. I hope you guys are doing well. I'll see later this month if I can go through the nearly year long backlog of messages that I left piling up in my message center. I was not that I wasn't checking it every week but I was not clearing it as I should have hahaha. How can I ask for a commision?

Simple. Just send me a note titled "Commision". You should be clear and precise as to what you want. How many characters and/or vehicles has the picture. What background (If any) should it have. What sort of action is taking place.

If possible, add visual references to details you think require special attention. Stuff like character designs (Specially if they're OCs), logos or special items. If you tell me you want something like a UH-1 Iroquois (Huey) helicopter then you don't really need to bring references, I can look those myself. But stuff that's more specific and/or unique I'd appreciate if I got some help beforehand. :)

What can I ask for in a commision?

I can draw vehicles like tanks, cars, helicopters, aircraft and even ships (Even 'though I havent drawn many naval pictures in the past). I can also draw specific characters from an anime, a TV show, movie or your very own original characters! Weapons too! I can draw them in whatever scenario you want.

The only thing I'm probably going to turn down is anything that promotes some form of racism/discrimination or extreme fetishes. If you're not sure if your picture is a no go, then you should ask anyways. I'm not going to crucify you hahaha.

How much will a commision cost me?

Well that depends on what you are asking for. The more elements a picture has, the longer it'll take to get done and therefore it becomes more expensive.

I've decided on the following prices for these items:

• Characters:

One character is going to set you back 15 Euros (18 US Dollars) just in lineart. Don't worry it's not going to be a simple pencil sketch. I will actually do a digital lineart as usual. You will get a high quality JPG but if you so wish you can get a PNG with just the lineart (No white background). You can color it yourself or ask someone else to color it.

A character in full color will cost 25 Euros (30 US Dollars). Remember that this is the price per character. Now if you have like a scene with one character in full detail and a background with people that lack any major features (You know like a crowd), then those don't count as characters, they'll be considered background work. This is the price for characters that are the main focus of the picture.

• Vehicles:

A single vehicle is going to be 15 Euros (18 US Dollars) lineart only, and 25 Euros (30 US Dollars) in color. This is the price per vehicle that is part of the main focus of the picture. But if your project has like a bunch of tiny vehicles that take five minutes to do, then like background people, they would count as background work. Not individually.

• Background:

For deserts and open fields (Oceans included) it should be around 5 Euros (6 US Dollars) in lineart and 15 Euros (18 US Dollars) in color.

Light urban scenarios 15 Euros (18 US Dollars) lineart only and 20 Euros (24 US Dollars) in color. These would include things like neighborhoods or areas that are partially built on like a village or town. A space scene with planets and moons would cost the same.

Heavy urban scenarios will cost 20 Euros (24 US Dollars) for the lineart and 30 Euros (36 US Dollars) in color. We're talking about scenes taking place in a large city, or an industrial zone. Something that's heavy on construction detail. A space station in detail can also count as this.

Forest/Jungle scenarios will cost 20 Euros (24 US Dollars) for the lineart and 30 Euros (36 US Dollars) for full color. But this may be negotiable if the background is not too dense.

Remember that if you choose a lineart only picture, all the elements will just be a black lineart over a white or empty background (Whatever you would like more). And if you ask it in color, then all the elements are in color. Otherwise we could end up with some weird looking pictures hahaha.

How do I pay for a commision?

We got two options:

The first option is paypal. All you need is my email account adress so you can send the money there. You obviously need to have a paypal account for this. This I can tell you is easy and has been a pretty safe payment mechanism (Thus far). This is personally my prefered method of getting paid.

The second option is via the Western Union. It involves paying in cash in a Western Union office. There's some requirements for sending out money like an ID and providing some information. On my side I only need a name, location (Just city, no home adress) and the number they'll give you (Called MTCN).

How long do I have to wait for the picture to be done?

Depends on the picture. If it's a very simple character with no background, I could have it in a few days but let's say a week just to be sure. More elaborated projects could take longer, like two weeks and if we're talking about something that is really big, I might have to sit at it for three weeks or longer. I will try to give a timeframe of when the picture could be done. I should also clarify that if there are other projects/commisions ahead of your project, then it has to wait until I'm done with the previous project on the cue. You can ask for a commision and wait in the cue and hold off on any payment until your project is next in line. This should give you the option to back out should something arise that may require you to save the money.

Happy Holidays fellow deviants. Just letting you know that I havvent slipped back into the void. I'm just having Phone line issues. My phone cable appears to have been grabbed by a tree branch in my street and pulled it out of its socket. It's still connected but the connection is shorting out when the cable is moving by even the most gentle breeze. So my internet comes and goes.

I've called tech support two weeks ago but the one guy that showed up only looked at the cable and then said another team was coming to fix it this week.

I dont think they'll be fixing it on Christmas so I'm probably going have to wait until next Monday or even until January to get back to your messages. I'll be trying to work on some pictures in the meanwhile. Nothing christmas related 'though ^^;

By which I mean I have set up a twitter account. It looks like most of the art scene has switched there so it would be dumb not to do as well. However I have no intention of leaving DeviantArt despite it's current state of decadence. Maybe one day DA will bounce back and reclaim the crown as the go to site for art and be once again a very vibrant community. I'd like to be there if that happens hahaha.

Anyways a while back I've set a number of alternative accounts in other websites like Facebook, Tumblr and Pixiv. Now obviously because of the nearly three year hiatus, those accounts didn't prosper very much. As a matter of fact in the time since I last made posts in those websites, Tumblr had that anti-porn meltdown that caused the great twitter migration a couple of years ago. My account there apparently didn't escape the wrath of the Tumblr regime and a bunch of my posts were removed. Not just my posts but my avatar was also removed. :O Those bastards.

So I nuked that account. To be honest that was no loss at all. I got almost no feedback while that account was up. I would be dissapointed but well if the website is a desert only filled with moral crusaders and SJWs then I'm better off elsewhere.

Facebook and Pixiv are still running since I do get some feedback there but they have been neglected. As I said before, I will be posting art more frequently but I think I will only post drawings that I work hard on, on those websites. But don't worry, that work will also get posted here. But this website will also include stuff like sketches or more light hearted artwork.

Regarding NSFW material. It's obvious that that content has not flied very well in this page. Not because of DeviantArt rules but rather cuz most of you are mainly after military pics, vehicles, soldiers. All the fun stuff. Pin Ups are about as close toNSFW as it may get but anything raunchy tends to underperform.

So I might create a new account for that stuff not here in DA but elsewhere under a different username (Why? Cuz I always wanted a secret indentity xD ).
